Zyque Basa is a descendant of Annie Lorenzo

Coming from a family of pageant girls, Zyque Faith Basa is a descendant of Annie Lorenzo who was well-known as a pageant queen during her teenage years. She was crowned Miss Roxas City and later gave up the title to compete with Mutya sang Sinadya sa Halaran. Though she was not able to grab the title of the latter, she was one of the early favorites and she gathered multiple awards during her participation.

Zyque's mother, Analy Lorenzo Basa, is also well-known in the pageant arena. This year, Zyque is competing for the crown with the hopes of continuing the influence of their family through pageantry.
